
LOS ANGELES--May 18, 2000-- Marta Mobley-Anderson, formerly vice president
of production and distribution of Roger Corman's Concorde-New Horizons,
has joined leading media agency DNA Studio as vice president of production,
it was announced by Thomas Lakeman, president.
Effective immediately, Mobley-Anderson will report to Lakeman on production
at the studio. The vice president of production post is the latest of
several key executive positions appointed by founding partners John
Moshay, Chris Gibbin and Josh Mutchnick during the studio's growth and
expansion.
"Marta played a key role at the company that wrote the book on guerilla
filmmaking," said Lakeman. "She knows how to deliver champagne
projects on a beer budget. Marta's understanding of indie culture and
ability to support emerging talent make her perfect for DNA Studio."

As vice president of production, Mobley-Anderson will be responsible
for overseeing delivery of all DNA Studio proprietary and for-hire projects,
and will supervise the company's staff of in-house producers.
Prior to joining DNA Studio, Mobley-Anderson held the position of vice
president of production, and recently distribution for Corman's production
company, Concorde-New Horizons. During her seven-year tenure with the
company, she worked in production on more than 55 feature films. Of
the 35 films that fell under her supervision, Mobley-Anderson served
as producer to 25 films and line producer on 10.
Most recently she produced 22 one-hour episodes of the "Black Scorpion"
television series. In addition to successfully overseeing operations
of the studio and maintaining a rigorous production schedule, Mobley-Anderson
improved efficiency and organization in Concorde-New Horizon's accounting,
stock library, post and production departments.
Before getting involved in the film industry, Mobley-Anderson worked
for seven years in retail buying, merchandising and management for the
Midwest-based Yonkers department store chain. Her invaluable experience
in this field honed her astute talents for negotiation, analysis, purchasing,
budgeting, management, organization and motivational practices, all
of which have been instrumental to her success within the production
arena.
