David Pina to Head Project
LOS ANGELES --(May
10, 2000)-- C. David Pina, the veteran
award winning graphics and animation designer and recently named VP
Creative Services for the Alternative Entertainment Network, Inc. (www.aentv.com),
has been signed to create the Main Title graphics and animation design
for the "54th Annual Tony Awards."
AENTV is the California based digital studios and Internet streaming
video production company, and one of the leading producers of original
content for the Internet and broadband markets.
This is the eighth year that the Tony Awards has commissioned Pina for
the show, and the first major broadcast animation and graphics project
for Pina and AENTV.COM since the completion of the multi-million dollar
digital studio production and post production facility with parent company
iNEXTV, a wholly owned subsidiary of Ampex Corporation.
"The graphics we have created work as an extension of the main set.
Just the huge volume of graphics required for the show will keep our
digital animation workstations running around the clock at AENTV.COM,"

Pageant," and "The Country Music Association Awards."
"The 54th Annual Tony Awards(R)" hosted by Rosie O'Donnell is
scheduled to air Sunday, June 4, 2000 on CBS from 9:00 to 11:00 PM,
live from Radio City Music Hall.
