Kids Show to Tape Additional Episodes at Disney-MGM Studios
LOS ANGELES --May 19, 2000--A new season of production has begun
on the Disney-MGM Studios lot at the Walt Disney World Resort near Orlando,
Fla., and guests in the park can expect to see some great television
in the making.
The first of these productions is the popular PBS kids series "Dooley
and Pals" that will tape new episodes on the Disney-MGM sound stages,
as well as utilize the post-production facilities at Disney i.d.e.a.s.
"Dooley and Pals" will continue taping an additional 13 episodes through
August 2000.
The series will begin airing on PBS in June of 2000 and is produced
by Victory Entertainment and Directed by Bruce Brown. "Dooley" is a
program geared toward pre-school age children that features a loveable
character from outer space who approaches everyday life with the same
kind of wonder and excitement as a young child. The "Dooley and Pals"
format combines live action with 3-D computer animation and includes
original songs, locations and puppets.
