Yellow Lorry sells second flame in a month

LONDON, UK, May 22, 2000: In line with its ongoing expansion and move
into new markets, Evolutions has become the latest London facility to
purchase a Discreet flame visual effects and compositing system. For
full-service Soho reseller Red Lorry Yellow Lorry, the order follows
closely on the back of another flame sale to Triangle Television.
Evolutions has ordered the latest version 7.0 flame software launched
by Discreet at this year's NAB. This features the new colour warper,
a new modular keyer, 24p universal mastering, motion tracking, paint,
text, and integration with 3D Studio MAX and Discreet's new desktop
compositor, combustion.
Currently best known for its broadcast work, Evolutions expects the
flame to attract more high-profile effects, commercials and music video
projects to its Berners Street facility. Evolutions Co-Director, Dave
Tidey, said: "flame is still the de facto standard for top-end
special effects. Its name is a great draw, and will enable us to improve
the creative service to existing clients and also bring in new customers."
