At SIGGRAPH 2000 Boris FX will announce and demonstrate Boris RED version 2.0, a resolution-independent 3D-compositing and title effects plug-in suite for hosts on Power Macintosh® and Intel/WindowsNT® workstations. Boris RED is the first plug-in that combines 3D graphics animation and compositing effects into a plug-in suite application that integrates seamlessly into non-linear online finishing systems. Boris RED 2.0 will include a variety of new features including vector based paint tools which allows the user to create animated graphics for use in video projects and export the same animation to FLASH for simultaneous web distribution.
