New
Multi-function Video Annotator Makes the Ultimate Presentation Tool
CAMPBELL,
CA --(March 31, 2000)-- This exciting new presentation product is an
integrated video sketcher, sports annotator, video switcher, and chroma
keyer that makes a perfect multimedia presentation tool. StudioSketch
enables users to enhance their presentations with real-time annotations
and drawings, and provide play-by-play sports analysis with video sketching.
Videonics will be demonstrating StudioSketch at NAB in Las Vegas, Nevada,
April 10-13, 2000 (Booth S4915).
"The unique combination of studio effects and real-time video sketching
makes StudioSketch the ideal choice for business presentations, sports,
and classroom programs," stated Michael Conway, Vice President
of Marketing for Videonics. "It easily adds live video and annotations
to computer based presentations, yet also operates independently to
enable sketching over live video or included backgrounds patterns."
StudioSketch is a two-input, multi-function video annotator that offers
live sketching over moving or still video, or on a white board background.
The product includes a variety of colors, shapes, pointers, and background
patterns (sports field and classroom). The ability to switch in real
time between Effects or Sketch Modes makes it an outstanding video teaching
aid. StudioSketch allows the presenter to sketch freely over Chroma
Key or Freeze Frame effects, live video, or built-in backgrounds. Studio
effects such as Chroma Key and Picture in Picture along with real-time
sketching over video make StudioSketch a very low cost weather or news
set. StudioSketch is ideal for multimedia business presentations, academic
and coaching programs, karaoke bars, nightclub entertainment, and live
TV or Webcasts.
StudioSketch consists of a small hardware chassis with two composite
and two S-Video inputs and an electronic sketching tablet. The two video
inputs also enable StudioSketch to serve as an input switcher. Video
output is through a single composite or a single S-Video connection.
StudioSketch has a U.S. suggested retail price of $599.00 and will be
marketed through the Videonics worldwide distribution network. A complete
list of distributors can be found on the Videonics web site: http://www.videonics.com/
