The Mill Group Appoint CEO

 

 

 

 

LONDON, England ­ March 17, 2000: The Mill Group, which encompasses The Mill, Mill Film and Mill Motion Control, announced that Robin Shenfield has been appointed as chief executive officer. Shenfield was one of the original founders of The Mill in 1990 along with current production director, Pat Joseph. Antony Hunt will continue in his role as managing director of Mill Film. Andy Barmer will continue with the day to day running of The Mill as facility director. Both will report directly to Shenfield who resumes the role with immediate effect.

James Morris, chairman of The Mill Group, commented, "This appointment reflects the growth of our combined businesses. Although The Mill group has many synergies the new management structure will allow Antony and Andy to focus on their specific areas while Robin will manage the business as a bigger picture."

Morris added, "Robin has vast experience in both film and commercials post production and has been given a clear mandate to make and implement the decisions necessary to ensure the ongoing creative and financial success of the group."
