Paris, France (February 22, 2000) ­ Sonic Solutions debuted today its soon-to-be-released SonicStudio HD Version 1.3 at the Audio Engineering Society Convention (AES) in Paris, France. The leading solution for premastering High-density Audio content, SonicStudio HD is Sonic's centerpiece for preparing audio masters for a wide range of applications including DVD-Video, DVD-Audio, Super Audio CD, and CD-Audio. With its 48-bit HDSP processing engine and exclusive Sonic Clarity architecture, SonicStudio HD delivers the highest-quality signal processing available for commercial audio releases.

  • Flowthrough to CD-R, DDP, and image files from Sony PCM1630 masters
  • Advanced mixing with breakpoint gain overlay functions and multi-stage, long-throw assignable mastering fader
  • Waveform display generation from Barbabatch to HDSP-converted soundfiles
