Inscriber RTX Produces On-Air Timing For 2000 Winter Goodwill Games For Turner Broadcasting

March 1, 2000 -Inscriber RTX was used by Turner Broadcasting (TBS and TNT networks) for the display of sport event timing during their 2000 Winter Goodwill Games broadcasts. The Goodwill Games took place in Lake Placid, NY, from February 15-22.

"Inscriber RTX allowed us to create custom applications to produce impressive on-air running clocks, time to beat, differentials and split times for a number of events: downhill alpine skiing, snowboard Super-G, bobsled, luge and others," stated James Broder, Managing Director for Broder's Skunkware Scoring & Timing Software. "Turner Broadcasting was very pleased that we were able to produce the on-air look they wanted. We knocked out two perfect downhill races, the first of which dominated the first night's broadcast. Over at the bobsled venue, all of the bobsled, luge, and skeleton events also went very well. I was able to develop the timing and clock applications in a reasonable length of time using Inscriber RTX, rather than struggling with other more complicated tools to produce the same output."

"Broder is an accomplished RTX developer who produces amazing results," says John Wrigglesworth, RTX Product Manager for Inscriber Technology Corporation. "His recent work for the 2000 Winter Goodwill Games continues to affirm Inscriber RTX as the leading choice for creating custom live titling applications that deliver an original on-air look."
