Plymouth,
Minn., Feb. 21, 2000 -- Digital Audio Labs announced a new 24-bit/96kHz
card for Windows, the TDIF 2496 Pro, that is specifically designed to
integrate with any TDIF-equipped device, i.e., DA-x8, mic pre’s, AD/DA
converters and digital consoles.
By
combining the latest 24-bit/96Khz technologies with the Tascam TDIF
digital transfer bus, integration with any TDIF device becomes streamlined.
Complete with DTRS sync support (master and slave) and a software transport
control window, the TDIF 2496 Pro does synchronous transfers, punch
ins, and overdubs.
The TDIF 2496 Pro can be used to build a digital highway to your computer.
One dual TDIF cable can transfer 16 channels of digital audio from any
TDIF-equipped DA-x8, mic pre, AD/DA converter and digital console. Or,
you can expand your I/O by chaining multiple cards together without
AES/EBU cables or ADAT to TDIF conversion devices.
