FAST Broadcast The silver family is proud to announce its newest member silver.DV

FAST Multimedia Inc, will feature the award winning silver editing system with the new InTime Processor at the Sands Convention center booth S4150. The silver family is proud to announce its newest member silver.DV. The New silver.DV Option is a IEEE1394 I/O card which allows silver users to input DV footage directly from todays popular DV cameras. The new DV card works with all silver systems and will allow Batch Capture and Print to tape.

Along with the new DV option, InTime Processing from FAST will steal the show. With 3.9 GigaFlops of rendering power you "lose wait now" with image processing up to 1000% FASTer! This patented new technology from FAST is built with the future in mind and will give even better performance as Raids, Motherboards and Processors improve. Unlike hardware based effects engines, the InTime processor from FAST isn't limited to preprogrammed effects with no room to grow. Instead FAST has taken a different approach. Since Software Processing offers a tremendous advantage in quality and doesn't produce scaling artifacts, FAST has simply provided the Computer with a more efficient way of processing effects. Background rendering is another advantage of silver. You never have to wait for the system to render, the system renders in the background while you work. With InTime Processing working in the background you can play back the time-line as it renders!

The entire silver family will be highlighted at "theme" demo pods. The following demos will give attendees the chance to see silver in action under normal work environments.
