VANCOUVER, British Columbia, April Credo Interactive today announces Life Forms Studio 3.9 will be available June 2000. Life Forms Studio 3.9 brings major advances to character animation with brand new features including a model editor and rotoscoping. This version also builds on the strong existing features of Life Forms 3.5 with ground-breaking developments to the motion editing tool set. New enhancements include a mirroring location capability, snap to figure options, superior preview modes, and smooth integration with other 3d applications.

Life Forms is the first 3d program devoted entirely to realistic character animation. The stand-alone movement tool offers an easy solution for character motion for animation, film and broadcast, architectural rendering, and choreography on both Macintosh and Windows platforms. Life Forms is designed to integrate with all the popular 3d applications to maximize productivity within a 3d workspace.


Pricing and Compatibility Life Forms Studio 3.9 will be available on both Macintosh and Windows platforms, with a suggested retail price of $495 US. Life Forms Studio includes PowerMoves 1 & 2 , a motion library of over 600 keyframed and motion-captured moves. Life Forms Studio also features import and export solutions to most 3d packages including LightWave, 3d Studio Max, Poser, ElectricImage, trueSpace and more. File format support extends to .BVH, HTR, 3DS, LWS, SEQ, VRML 97, and more.
