LOS ANGELES­-(Feb. 07, 2001 ) Digital Film Tools is shipping Composite Suite 1.5, a collection of special effects plug-ins for Avid editing systems and Adobe After Effects.

Composite Suite features 14 effects plug-ins that were previously available to the in-house artists at Digital FilmWorks. the plug-ins feature selective color correction, matte generation, natural lighting effects, and tools for combining imagery such as fire, smoke and explosions. All tools that are needed to combine combine multiple images are included, such as color correction, blur, grain, matte manipulation and edge blending, the company said.
